A day ahead of taking over as new Bharatiya Janata Party president, Rajnath Singh Sunday said he did not believe in challenges, but only in finding a solution to problems.
"Throughout my political career, I have never considered anything as a challenge, but always tried to find a solution to problems," Singh, who will succeed Lal Kishenchad Advani, told reporters in New Delhi.
Asked what was the biggest challenge before him as party chief and how he would face it, Singh said, "Almighty has always helped me in finding a solution to problems."
To a question, he said, "There were no internal differences in the party in the past. Nor there will be any in future."
On Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav's reported accusation that there was a nexus between him and the mafia, Singh said, "He should initiate a Central Bureau of Investigation inquiry in this regard."
