The verdict is out. Manu Sharma has been held guilty under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code for the murder of model Jessica Lal on April 29, 1999 at a party at Qutub Colonnade restaurant in south Delhi.

For Jessica's family, justice has finally been served, though after a prolonged fight.

Having lost both her parents during the course of the family's seven-and-a-half-year-long fight for justice, Jessica's sister Sabrina feels vindicated today. She and other supporters of Jessica had taken out candlelight vigils, building up public opinion for speedy justice in the case.
