The Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday released the second list of eight candidates for the forthcoming Assembly elections in Kerala.
It has decided to field K P Sreeshan (Beypore), Eroor Anilkumar (Chadayamangalam), Stephen Issac (Peerimedu), C Unniraja (Cherppu), Adv Prakash (Nadapuram), M K Chandran (Mannarcad), Aniyammma Rajendran (Peravur) and Adv Padmanabhan (Sulthan Batheri).
The party had earlier announced a list of 128 candidates -- including former Union minister O Rajagopal and the party's state youth wing chief K Surendran -- for the 140 seats at stake in the state. The party has given tickets to 12 women, 10 Scheduled Caste candidates and to six persons belonging to minority communities, including two Muslims and four Christians.
