String of bomb hoax calls in Delhi

A string of bomb hoax calls on Sunday kept the Delhi [ Images ] police on their toes a day after the serial blasts killed 59 people and injured over 200 others.

A phone call that a bomb had been kept in a school for the visually challenged in Nizamuddin area in south Delhi sent police into a tizzy.

The building was evacuated but no suspicious object was found when bomb and dog squads scourged the place.

Another call was received about an unclaimed bag in a bus in Sarojini Nagar area but that also turned out to be a hoax.
