Another strong aftershock, measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale, rocked Pakistan early Saturday morning three weeks after the 7.6 magnitude earthquake devastated the country leaving thousands dead and millions homeless.

This is the second aftershock of the same intensity to hit the region in a week's span.

The tremor was felt at 3.14 AM with its epicentre at 34.7 degree North and 73.3 degree East, not far from that of October 8 earthquake, according to Indian Meteorological Department.

There were no immediate reports of injuries.
