Acting tough, the Election Commission on Monday directed the transfer of two senior Central Reserve Police Force officials doing election duty in Patna for meeting Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo Lalu Prasad.

The action against the officials came a day ahead of the first phase of assembly polls in the state and has been taken for their violation of the model code of conduct, EC sources said.
