Six army personnel were washed away on Wednesday in a massive landslide in the quake-hit Tangdhar area, defence sources said in Srinagar.

The jawans were killed while on a rescue operation in one of the worst-affected villages in Tangdhar area of Kupwara district in north Kashmir, the sources said.
