A severe aftershock measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale jolted earthquake-ravaged northern Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir on Sunday, the strongest since the October eight earthquake.
Islamabad, Peshawar, Malakand, Swat, Balakot, Rawlakot, Mansehra and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir's capital Muzaffarabad experienced the aftershock at 07.12 AM local time (07:42 AM IST).

There were no immediate reports of damage.
According to Meteorological Department, the epicentre of the aftershock was in Hazara Division, 200 km northeast of Peshawar.
Over 73,000 people were killed and another 63,000 injured in the 7.6 magnitude earthquake on October 8.
Several cities in Pakistan and PoK have experienced about 1,000 aftershocks, some measuring over five on the Richter scale, following the temblor.
However, Sunday's jolt was the biggest so far.
