As many as 118 assistant commissioners of police, including 30 from Mumbai, were transferred by the Maharashtra government on Monday, a day after it shifted 78 senior police officers.
The state government had on Sunday transferred 25 police officials of inspector general level and 53 superintendents of police and deputy superintendents of polie.
It included shifting Mumbai's high-profile Joint Police Commissioner Ahmed Javed as Inspector General.
