Union Minister for Steel and Fertilisers and Lok Janshakti Party president Ram Vilas Paswan on Saturday said his party will go alone in the polls.
He also predicted that elections in Bihar would be held in October.
Talking to reporters in Hyderabad, Paswan said natural conditions in Bihar will not allow elections till October as north Bihar would face flood situation during the coming monsoon, which will settle down only after September.
"As of now LJP will go alone in the election," Paswan, who is in Hyderabad to attend N T Rama Rao's birth anniversary, said.

He also did not rule out any alliance with like-minded party.
Paswan said he did his best to save Bihar going to elections, but ideology compelled him to keep himself away from all the opportunists parties.
"I stand by ideology of secularism. Even after elections, I will try to host a Muslim chief minister. This is possible because of the support by Muslims and Yadavs which comprise 35 to 36 per cent of votes in Bihar," he said.
On not responding to Nitish Kumar's suggestion in forming the government in Bihar, Paswan said, "Nitish Kumar and Fernandes are two-headed snakes and cannot be trusted.
Besides, they are also communal elements, he said.
He said there is no question of influencing dissolution of Bihar assembly as the governor was convinced of horse-trading.
