Bihar: Jaitley to be election in-charge

Bharatiya Janata Party [ Images ] president Lal Kishenchand Advani [ Images ] on Wednesday appointed party general secretary Arun Jaitley [ Images ] as election in-charge for Bihar.

Bihar might go to polls in September-November after the Union Cabinet on Monday recommended the dissolution of the Bihar assembly, saying that horse-trading was going on to form a government.

Jaitley will coordinate with National Democratic Alliance ally Janata Dal-United and supervise the party's preparations for the elections, BJP vice president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said.
