Bharatiya Janata Party president Lal Kishenchand Advani on Wednesday appointed party general secretary Arun Jaitley as election in-charge for Bihar.
Bihar might go to polls in September-November after the Union Cabinet on Monday recommended the dissolution of the Bihar assembly, saying that horse-trading was going on to form a government.
Jaitley will coordinate with National Democratic Alliance ally Janata Dal-United and supervise the party's preparations for the elections, BJP vice president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said.
Jaitley was the party's election in-charge for Bihar in the recent assembly polls also.
