Bihar Governor Buta Singh on Thursday criticised Bharatiya Janata Party vice-president Sushil Kumar Modi for levelling unfounded allegations against him and his sons, and asserted that he was sure some political parties were indulging in 'horse trading' to form a government.
Modi, on Wednesday, accused Singh of trying to thwart the National Democratic Alliance's bid to form a government and alleged that Singh was a pawn in the hands of the Congress, which wanted to rule the state by proxy.
Singh's sons, Lovely and Sweety, have been accused of interfering in day-to-day political affairs and ruling the state by proxy.
Singh, however, reminded the BJP leader that he knows the sanctity of the post of the governor and understands the Constitution better than him.
Talking to newspersons in Patna, Singh said he has confirmed reports and information that horse trading for government formation is going on.
"I received feedback from intelligence sources," he said.
On the question of his sons' interference in government affairs, Singh said that his sons live with him like any other sons living with their father.
