A Jammu and Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation driver and his son and daughter were killed when a parcel bomb exploded in Bejibhara on Friday morning.
The parcel was delivered to the driver, Mohammed Sayeed Kakroo, in Bijbehara, 45 km from Srinagar, around 2230 IST on Thursday, the police said.
As soon as the parcel was opened in the morning, it exploded, killing Kakroo, his son Mohammed Rafiq and daughter Shahzada, the police said.
On Thursday, militants hurled a grenade outside a Srinagar school, killing two women and injuring at least 40 children.
A day before that, a car bomb went off at a busy intersection in Srinagar's city centre, killing one and injuring 35.
