A passenger-and-cargo ferry boat carrying 745 people caught fire on the sea early on Monday morning in northeast China's Liaoning province, the state media reported saying that no casualties have been reported so far.
The boat named 'Baohua' has 698 passengers and 47 crew members, Xinhua news agency said.
The ship was travelling from Yantai in east China's Shandong province to Dalian in Liaoning province.
The fire, which broke out in the cargo cabin of the boat, has been brought under control.
