Omar, Mehbooba to take first Kashmir bus

National Conference chief Omar Abdullah [ Images ] and People's Democratic Party president Mehbooba Mufti are among the eight leaders of mainstream political parties who would travel to Muzaffarabad on the inaugural Indo-Pak bus from Srinagar [ Images ] on April 7.
Other political personalities who will travel by the first bus are: J&K Deputy Chief Minister Mangat Ram Sharma; Rural Development Minister Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed; PDP leader Rangeel Singh; National Panther's Party chief Bhim Singh; Communist Party of India-Marxist secretary M Y Tarigami and NC leader A R Rather.
The Mufti Mohammad Sayeed government had recommended to the Centre a list of 11 leaders from the state.
