Senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party will meet on Tuesday to decide the future course of action to protest against the United States' decision to deny Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi a visa to visit that country.

Party president Lal Kishenchand Advani will head the meeting.

Speaking to rediff.com, BJP spokesman Vijay Kumar Malhotra said, "Advaniji has called a meeting of senior party leaders in his (Advani's) chamber in the parliament house on Tuesday morning before the two houses meet for the day." "After the meeting, we will let you know our next plan," he added

Malhotra alleged that the US decision was taken with an eye to please Pakistan.

Modi, who was scheduled to start a five-day visit to the US from Sunday, addressed a meeting in New York's Madison Square via a satellite link on Monday.
