Rescue workers on Sunday recovered 60 bodies from a coal mine in north China which caved after an explosion.
The blast occurred at the Xishui Coalmine in Shuozhou on Saturday. The explosion was so powerful that it immediately
caused a wall to collapse in the neighboring Kangjiayao coal mine, killing 19 miners, according to reports.
Ten miners were still missing, officials said. Eight rescue teams are working round the clock to search for the missing men, Xinhua news agency quoted an official with the rescue headquarters as saying.
Nearly 94 people have been killed in three major coal mine disasters this week.
