Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh arrived in Lahore on Monday on a four-day visit to Pakistan.
His counterpart in Pakistan's Punjab Chaudhary Pervez Elahi accorded him a warm welcome. A large crowd, backed by traditional musical and dancing troops, greeted Singh on his second visit to Pakistan.
Singh will meet President Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz. He will also visit 'Nankana Sahib', near Lahore, the birthplace of Guru Nanak.
Singh and his delegation crossed over to Pakistan by foot through the Wagah border.
