A flood alert was issued in Doda and Leh districts of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday in view of rising water levels in Chenab and Sindh rivers.
Doda district administration issued an order to people living on the banks of the Chenab. It said water level in the river had been increasing following melting of snow in the upper reaches of the Himalayas.
