Six people were killed and five persons injured when a three-storied building collapsed in suburban Khar in Mumbai following heavy rains on Friday night.

The 40-year-old building, 'Pushpanjali', collapsed shortly after 10 pm on Friday night. The building also housed a chartered accountant's office, fire brigade sources said.

Six people were rescued from the crash site on Friday and taken to a nearby hospital.
