Toll in Kashmir blast goes up to 15

The death toll in Monday's car bomb explosion near a CRPF camp in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir went up to 15 with one more person dying in hospital late on Monday night, officials said.

Mohammad Younis Wagay of Akingam village in the district succumbed to his injuries at a hospital, they said.

The condition of five others undergoing treatment in different hospitals continued to remain serious, they said adding that 47 of the injured had been discharged from Pulwama district hospital.

A car carrying 40 kg of RDX exploded outside a school, barely 50 metres from a Central Reserve Police Force camp in Pulwama town at around 1130 IST on Monday, killing 14 people including two students and three CRPF officers.
