Leader of the Opposition and Bharatiya Janata Party president Lal Kishenchand Advani on Tuesday emphasised the need for making the ongoing India-Pakistan peace process more enduring to resolve Kashmir and other issues.
Speaking at a banquet hosted in his honour by Pakistan Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri in Islamabad, Advani said the peace process has the support of all political parties in India.

Advani is on a week-long tour of Pakistan.
Advani said the dialogue between India and Pakistan has become irreversible and added that the exchange of views between the leaders of the two countries should be promoted as it is the way forward to find an amicable solution to Kashmir.
Expressing his support for the dialogue process, Advani said the BJP has a special responsibility to ensure that Indo-Pak hostility must become a thing of the past.
He said the government and people of Pakistan should know that it is the desire of the government and people of India to continue the current peace process.
In his speech, Kasuri called on India and Pakistan to show flexibility for the success of the peace process.
