Security was tightened and bomb squad pressed into service on Friday at the Bombay high court besides Kurla and Mazgaon courts after an anonymous telephone call claimed that bombs have been planted in courtrooms.
However, the call proved to be a hoax as no suspicious object was found, police sources said.
Soon after receiving the anonymous telephone call, teams were deployed to these courts and vigorous search was conducted.
Security was tightened particularly in the high court and Mazgaon court, where the Best Bakery trial is on, the sources said.
