Expelled Shiv Sena leader Narayan Rane said he would resign as the Leader of Opposition in the Maharashtra assembly on tuesday.
"I would have done it on Monday itself but for the disruptive attitude of the legislators," Rane told reporters at the Vidhan Bhawan here as soon as he arrived on the second day of the monsoon session.
Rane earlier claimed he had the support of at least 52 Sena MLAs, while only nine turned up for a meeting called by him.
