Some school students of Patna have sent an SOS to President A P J Abdul Kalam to ensure the safe recovery of a kidnaped Delhi Public School student.

Students of Patna DPS and some other schools, including Don Bosco, have written to the President to help them for safe recovery of Kislay Kaushal, a 14-year-old DPS student, who was kidnapped last Wednesday in Patna on the way to school.

Bihar Public School and the Children's Welfare Association have demanded that public schools remain closed on Monday to protest the kidnapping.

CWA president D K Singh has warned that if Kislay was not recovered by Monday, students of several schools would gherao Raj Bhawan (the governor's residence).

Singh said that most public schools confirmed that they would remain closed on Monday as a mark of protest.

The colleagues of Kislay's Father, K K Gupta, who is senior officer in the state finance services, have gone on indefinite strike to protest kidnapping.
