The Supreme Court on Monday asked Zaheera Sheikh, the key accused in the Best Bakery case, to provide details of her assets within four weeks.
The order came after allegations of bribery against Zaheera after her flip-flops in court.
The court also gave three more months to the committee that it appointed to probe the veracity of the allegations and counter allegations by Zaheera and social activist Teesta Setalvad in the case.
The court on January 10 had constituted the committee, headed by its Registrar General B M Gupta. Gupta had chosen Joint Commissioner of Delhi Police Kanwaljeet Deol as the other member of the committee.
Fourteen people died when the Best Bakery was set afire on March 1, 2002 by a mob in the post-Godhra riots.
