The Bihar police on Tuesday rescued a 12-year-old schoolboy who was abducted from his house on Saturday.
They have arrested four persons in this connection.
Superintendent of Police Meghnath Ram told PTI that the police rescued Harsh Ranjan from a house under Harpur Pusa police station during a raid conducted on the basis of the information obtained from the interrogation of eight people who were arrested earlier.
Harsh was handed over to his family, he said. One country-made pistol was recovered during the raid, he added.
Armed dacoits had looted the house of a retired school principal Ramanarayan Prasad Singh on Saturday night and abducted his nephew Harsh Ranjan at gun point, Ram said.
