Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leaders met in Mumbai on Monday and finalised the schedule for the party's national executive meeting and the party's silver jubilee national convention commencing on Wednesday.
The meeting of the office-bearers chaired by outgoing party president Lal Kishenchand Advani gave final touches to the political, economic and foreign affairs, and internal security resolutions to be adopted at the meeting, party sources said.
To commence with flag hoisting by former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the three-day convention at the Bandra reclamation ground, where the party began its political journey 25 years back, will conclude with the valedictory remarks by both Vajpayee and Advani.
