Bollywood actor Salman Khan was Tuesday granted bail by the Chief Judicial Magistrate of Jodhpur after he appeared in the court in two cases of black buck poaching in 1998.
CJM Yudhishtar Sharma granted bail to the Bollywood actor, who was served with non-bailable arrest warrant for his non-appearance in court, Salman's counsel Hastimal Sarswat told PTI over telephone from Jodhpur.
Salman was given relief by the Mumbai High Court till December 20, hence he appeared in the Jodhpur court, Sarswat said. On December 12, the CJM, Jodhpur issued arrest warrants on the actor for not appearing in court for three consecutive hearings.
Salman was also scheduled to appear in Jodhpur's munsif district court in the poaching cases related to arms act lodged in Luni in 1989, the counsel said.
