Bharatiya Janata Party president Lal Kishenchand Advani Saturday demanded Congress should place "all its cards" on the table of the House on the Volcker issue and asked the party not to "hush up its own role" in view of the "disclosure" of former external affairs minister Natwar Singh's son Jagat Singh before the Enforcement Directorate.

"The country would like the Congress party to put all its cards on the table and not to try to hush up its own role," Advani, the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, told reporters in Kolkata.

"Friday, Natwar Singh's son Jagat Singh was interrogated by the ED for several hours and it has been reported he had produced a copy of the letter before the ED that he had received from the head of the Youth Congress authorising him to go (to Iraq)," he added.

Advani said now Jagat Singh's disclosure once again emphasised that it was not one individual, one family or one company, which was involved in the whole matter.
