The Cobrapost.com sting operation named Operation Duryodhan done by Aniruddha Bahal of Tehelka fame in which 11 members of Parliament were shown taking money for raising questions in Parliament has forced Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee to say that he was very disturbed by the expose.

Bahal, who carried out the sting operation, could not divulge details owing to his contractual obligation with Aaj Tak, the television channel which telecast the porgramme.

According to sources in Aaj Tak, the anchor and several others who were in the know of the operation and were dealing with Bahal had been told to stay away from the office in order to maintain secrecy.

This is the third time Bahal has been involved in a sting operation. The first one was on cricketers and match-fixing. The second one was on the defence called Operation West End. Operation West End was Bahal's independent operation.

Both operations were conducted while he was working for tehelka.com.

Bahal had been working on the project for more than six months. It took several trips and a lot of money to trap the unsuspecting members of Parliament.

Only 10-12 MPs have been caught on camera accepting bribes.

Q W Naqvi of Aaj Tak said the operation was Cobrapost.com's and that his channel was merely airing the videos.
