The Liberhan Commission, probing the demolition of diputed structure at Ayodhya, on Thursday set a deadline of December 30 for the Centre to file its written submission on the incident, saying that no further opportunities will be given.

Making it clear that it was giving the last opportunity for the Centre to express its overall view on the demolition, the Commission said 'the written submission setting out precisely and comprehensively the Union Government's perception and conclusion on the questions referred to the Commission has to be filed by December 30'.

The Commission said the Centre was at liberty to adopt or make a submission with regard to the one filed by it earlier. It was referring to the submissions and stand taken by the earlier National Democratic Alliance government at the Centre.

Justice M S Liberhan, chairman of the Commission, clarified that before the written submission is placed before the panel, it has to be given to the respective parties to enable them to file their objections or comments before Decemeber 30.
