Putin to visit India

Russian President Vladimir Putin [ Images ] on Tuesday accepted an invitation from Prime Minister Manmohan Singh [ Images ] to visit India [ Images ].
"I have invited the Russian President to visit India and I am pleased to say that he has accepted my invitation," the prime minister said at a joint press conference in Moscow [ Images ] with Putin after their talks.
"I want to thank Mr Prime Minister for his kind invitation to visit India," Putin responded.
