Members of hardline Islamic women's seperatist group Dukhataran-e-Milat (Daughters of Faith) speak with diners at a restaurant in Srinagar, August 30.

Group leader Aasiya Andrabi led raids on establishments alledgedly operating brothels in the Muslim-majority state and appealed for help in reporting cases of adultery.

The women, travelling in three-wheel auto-rickshaws and cars, staged the raids clad in head-to-veils in line with strict Islamic tradition.

Andrabi and her team swooped on restaurants and internet cafes where they found teenage boys and girls.

The group has earlier smeared black paint on racy Bollywood film posters portraying scantily clad women.

A few years ago Aasiya was wanted under  the Prevention of Terrorism Act for allegedly receiving money from Pakistan's Inter Service Intelligence.
