Afghan President Hamid Karzai [ Images ] on Sunday accepted Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's [ Images ] invitation to visit India [ Images ].

At a joint press conference with Karzai in Kabul, Singh said he looked forward to Karzai's visit.

"I have extended an invitation to President Karzai to visit India. He had accepted it. I look forward to receiving him," Singh said after wide-ranging talks with the Afghan leader on bilateral ties besides exchanging perceptions on important regional and international developments.
