July 26 almost washed away Mumbai. Despite it being an island city, no one had ever seen so much water. The destruction caused was unprecedented.
Eight days have passed, but the city has yet to regain the pace for which it is known.
Many suburbs and areas in and around Mumbai remain flooded.
Today, after almost a week, the sun has decided to show up.
Rescue work continues at Kalina, near Kurla. The place has been badly affected, with heavy flooding of 5-6 feet leaving people without electricity, water or food for the past 3-4 days.
