The National Democratic Alliance has decided to continue with its boycott of the ongoing Parliament session.
NDA on Wednesday boycotted Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee's all-party meeting aimed at defusing the stalemate over the Opposition demand to dismiss Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav.

"We want Opposition to be present in the House and participate in the discussions," he told reporters in New Delhi.
He repeated his appeal to the Opposition to reconsider its decision to boycott the house when the NDA said it's members would not attend the meeting.

Chatterjee had also spoken to Leader of Opposition L K Advani requesting him to reconsider the decision and
attend the House.
Among those who attended the meeting were Yadav, who has been in the centre of controversy over his remarks on the recent train accident in Gujarat, Telugu Desam Party leader K Yerrannaidu and Union Minister for Steel Ram Vilas Paswan.
