President A P J Abdul Kalam on Sunday asked his Pakistani counterpart Pervez Musharraf to place all confidence-building measures 'in one incubator or good basket and then watch the eggs being nurtured in this basket of goodwill and also see that no one kicks it over'.

"We should harness or direct all our energy to nurture this goodwill and no third party should be allowed to enter and damage it," Kalam's spokesman S M Khan quoted him as saying.

The President, during his talks with Musharraf while hosting a lunch for the visiting dignitary and his wife Sehba, recalled his interaction with school children as well as people from other walks of life, including politicians, of Pakistan.

Vice-President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh attended the lunch.

Every student of Pakistan has a desire to live in a happy, healthy and a prosperous country and children in India also have a similar desire, Kalam said.

Kalam demonstrated to Musharraf his scheme of Providing Urban amenities in Rural Areas through a huge display screen linked to his computer.

The Pakistan president gave a patient hearing to understand the PURA scheme and said his country could learn from Kalam's experience.

Musharraf talked about the empowerment of local self-government units in Pakistan.

Kalam also told Musharraf: "We missed the industrial revolution, as our kingdoms were fighting with each other and Britishers were ruling us. But now…we should not miss the industrial revolution that is taking place around the world and work to accelerate that by maintaining peace."

During the lunch, the Pakistan president relished the Hyderabadi biryani, kebabs, Kashmiri chaman (Cheese), dal bukhara and some chicken preparations besides savouring idlis.
