Pakistan Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri told journalists that Gandhi recalled the "great fondness and enthusiasm" with which her son Rahul and daughter Priyanka were received in Pakistan last year.

He said the dates of Sonia's visit to Pakistan will be worked out through diplomatic channels.

"Important aspects of Indo-Pak relations were discussed during the meeting," he said.
