India and Pakistan on Sunday agreed to work towards expediting the process to resolve the dispute over the Siachen glacier and Sir Creek in Kutch of Gujarat.

The two sides, during talks, decided to instruct officials involved in the process to give 'greater degree of urgency and priority so that we can resolve them as soon as possible', Foreign Secretary Shyam Saran told reporters in New Delhi.

At the talks, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh led the Indian side, while Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf led his country's delegation.
