Lok Janshakti Party on Friday hinted it will not be averse to form a government in Bihar with the Bharatiya Janata Party's outside support.

The party, however, maintained that the Janata Dal-United should leave the National Democratic Alliance.

"Support from inside or outside can be looked into later, but first, the JD-U should decide between Bihar and the BJP, if not at the national level, at least in Bihar. If it is Bihar, then it has to snap ties with the BJP," LJP chief Ramvilas Paswan said.

Asked if he will consider outside support from the BJP, he said, "Will I chase away anyone with a stick if they want to support me?"

In Mumbai, however, BJP general secretary Pramod Mahajan said, "We don't want to be treated as untouchables. BJP will have to be a part and parcel of any new arrangement."

Bihar is now under President's rule.
