Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed on Friday said people travelling by the inaugural Srinagar-Muzaffarabad bus will be given full security.
"The aim of those who have issued threats to the passengers would be defeated by the will and the resolution of the people," Sayeed told the state assembly.
He said only one person had received a threat call warning him against travelling on the bus.
But the passenger had told the caller that he was not afraid and would go ahead with his travel plans, he added.
He also cited the instance of another woman who was shown on television saying that if going to Muzaffarabad to meet her daughter entails death then she was ready to embrace it rather than cancel her programme.
"My daughter would know that her mother was killed trying to meet her," the chief minister said, quoting the woman.
