Prime Minister Manmohan Singh [ Images ] was on Friday taken by surprise when Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf [ Images ] presented an album of old photographs of Singh in the school he studied in.

He also produced a copy of Singh's school report card dug out from the archives. These were topped by a painting of the village in west Punjab [ Images ], now in Pakistan, where Singh was born.
