The Shiv Sena on Thursday announced its first list of 84 candidates for the October 13 assembly polls in Maharashtra.
The party has given tickets to 26 fresh candidates and also nominated four women.
The list was announced in the party's paper, Saamna, in Mumbai.

Former chief minister Narayan Rane, Ramdas Kadam, Shyam Sawant and Balasaheb Dangat were some of the leaders named in the first list, while sitting legislator from Sangameshwar and former minister Ravindra Mane were among the prominent
ones dropped.
