Former Madhya Pradesh [ Images ] chief minister Uma Bharti and Karnataka [ Images ] Bharatiya Janata Party [ Images ] chief Ananth Kumar have been appointed general secretaries in a major organisational revamp of the BJP.
Former external affairs minister Yashwant Sinha [ Images ] has been made a vice-president.
The new team, in which general secretary Pramod Mahajan [ Images ] remains untouched, was finalised on Friday after a number of meetings of the top leadership.
Madan Lal Khurana, who resigned as Rajasthan [ Images ] Governor on Monday, is also likely to find a place in the party as vice-president, party sources said.
