Former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Uma Bharti and Karnataka Bharatiya Janata Party chief Ananth Kumar have been appointed general secretaries in a major organisational revamp of the BJP.
Former external affairs minister Yashwant Sinha has been made a vice-president.
The new team, in which general secretary Pramod Mahajan remains untouched, was finalised on Friday after a number of meetings of the top leadership.
Madan Lal Khurana, who resigned as Rajasthan Governor on Monday, is also likely to find a place in the party as vice-president, party sources said.
