Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Wednesday dismissed criticism of dual sources of power at the Centre. Congress president Sonia Gandhi, he said, was a "mighty source of strength" as the chairperson of the ruling United Progressive Alliance.
"I am confident that our government will stay for full five years and there should not be any doubt about it," Singh told the press on his first visit to Mumbai after assuming office.
Asked about the opposition accusation that Congress president Sonia Gandhi was playing the role of a 'super prime minister', Singh said, "I am the Prime Minister and there are no dual sources of power."
