India is not ready to accept the reality in Kashmir, Pakistan said on Saturday.
Reacting to External Affairs Minister K Natwar Singh's statement that there is "something fundamentally wrong" with Pakistan's understanding of the realities in J&K if it thinks that the All-Parties Hurriyat Conference is the only representative of Kashmiris, foreign office spokesman Masood Khan said the minister's stand is "tantamount to sheer negation of facts", local daily The Nation reported on Saturday.

Contrary to Singh's statement, the Hurriyat leaders are the real representatives of the Kashmiris and India will have to "accede" to this "obvious fact", he said.
The Hurriyat leaders have asked the Indian authorities to allow them to visit Pakistan to hold talks with Kashmiri leaders on Pakistan's side of the Line of Control as well as with the Pakistani leadership, he said. So far India has not accepted the request, he added.
