The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to suspend 400 doctors who have not complied with the transfer orders issued to them by the state.
The suspension orders will be served to the erring doctors at the earliest, Minister of State for Health Jayveer Singh told reporters in Lucknow on Thursday.
"There are about 400 doctors who have not complied with their transfer order till November 7 and they will be suspended in keeping with the high court directive," Singh said.
The minister also warned doctors against disobeying government orders.
