Eleven people, including four Hizbul Mujahideen militants, allegedly involved in the assassination of National Conference leader Safdar Ali Beig and the attempt on the life of party chief Omar Abdullah, have been arrested, official sources said in Srinagar on Monday.
The arrests were made over the past couple of days, they said.
Beig was shot dead by militants outside his Sarnal residence on October 21. The National Conference president had a narrow escape when an IED exploded at Beig's fourth day ceremony.
