The Bellagio Forum for Sustainable Development will be funding five environmental journalism fellowships within the prestigious Reuters Foundation Programme at Green College, Oxford University, in the academic year 2004-2005.
This established programme enables mid-career print and broadcast journalists from all over the world to study at Oxford on short fellowships.
It is open to mid-career environmental journalists from any country in the world. The usual age brackets at the Reuters Oxford Programme are 28 to 45 with a minimum requirement of five years experience in professional journalism.
The Bellagio Forum Fellowship will cover the travel, accommodation and living expenses as well as the programme fee for the five winning journalists.
In the academic year 2004-2005, the Fellowship three-month terms will be early October 2004 to early January 2005, mid-January 2005 to mid-April 05 and late April 2005 to mid-July 2005
The deadline for receiving the completed application forms is July 5, 2004.
